Mechanical Engineer - Marine Piping Systems Engineer (m/f)

As a Mechanical Engineer – Marine Piping Systems Engineer at Neptune Engineering Croatia, you’ll be deeply involved in the full lifecycle of our vessels – whether new builds or modifications to our fleet. Working closely with colleagues in both Croatia and the Netherlands, you’ll play an essential role in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-quality maritime solutions. Job description: - Designing mechanical systems (PFDs) based on operational and functional requirements - Preparing equipment and system specifications and support the procurement process - Producing detailed mechanical drawings (diagrams, arrangements, etc.) and performing relevant calculations - Guiding and reviewing subcontractor work as needed - Using 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD and Cadmatic - Ensuring compliance with classification standards and up-to-date maritime regulations - Collaborating with engineers, product specialists, and other departments to create integrated solutions aligned with our production processes - Staying closely involved in the production phase to ensure quality and efficiency - Reporting to the Engineering & Project Management leads both in Croatia and the Netherlands

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - At least 2 years of relevant experience (entry-level applicants with the right mindset are also welcome) - Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Cadmatic) - Strong communication skills in English - A hands-on, proactive attitude and a passion for shipbuilding as we’re very passionate about it, too
