Robotics Engineer (m/f)

We’re looking for a Robotics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility to work partially from home while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team. As a Robotics Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and implement AI (i.e. supervised deep learning) and control algorithms for robotic systems. You’ll work on projects that combine software development, hardware integration, and applied research in intelligent robotics. As part of our robotics team, you’ll take ownership of key tasks across development, research, and integration, including: - Designing and implementing control and AI algorithms for robotic systems - Developing and integrating robotics software with hardware components - Conducting research and experimentation to improve system performance - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions - Testing, debugging, and optimizing robotics software for reliability and scalability - Maintaining documentation and version control throughout development

We’re looking for someone who’s curious, technically skilled, and passionate about robotics, someone who thrives in an innovative start-up environment. Ideally, you have: - Proficiency in Python (required) - Familiarity with C++, Docker, Git, and libraries such as Hugging Face, PyTorch, and OpenCV - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in software development related to robotics or automation - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities - Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry is a huge plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
