QA Lead Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a QA Lead Engineer to join our growing development team and take full ownership of the QA lifecycle across the company. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing and evolving our quality assurance infrastructure, ensuring high product standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a QA Lead, you will work closely with development and product teams, with a strong focus on web frontend applications, REST-based microservices, Docker/Kubernetes environments, and AI-powered systems. You will spearhead our testing strategy, design scalable automation frameworks, and establish measurable quality standards across the organization. Your Responsibilities: - Strategy & Leadership: Define, implement, and evolve global QA strategies and best practices; mentor QA engineers and promote a quality-first mindset across teams - Automation & Infrastructure: Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks; integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines - Comprehensive Testing: Oversee full-spectrum coverage including manual, automated, regression, performance, and security testing - Collaboration & Design: Partner with stakeholders to define quality KPIs; review system requirements and technical designs to ensure testability from day one - Operational Excellence: Own the defect management process, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements in test efficiency and reporting - Innovation: Stay at the forefront of QA trends and technologies, introducing relevant tools and AI-driven testing innovations Our Tech Stack & Environment: - Frontend: Web-based applications and Windows desktop environments - Backend: REST APIs and microservices architecture - Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines - Advanced Tech: Projects involving AI and Deep Learning components

What We’re Looking For Experience & Education: - Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Professional Track Record: 5+ years of experience in Software QA, with at least 1–2 years in a Lead or Senior role, demonstrating the ability to guide teams and processes - Agile Proficiency: Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and a deep understanding of the SDLC Technical Skills: - QA Mastery: Strong expertise in QA methodologies, strategic test planning, and modern quality standards - Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable automated testing infrastructure - Tooling: Proficiency with modern QA and CI/CD tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, GitLab CI, etc.) - Advanced Testing (Plus): Experience with performance, load, and security testing is considered a strong advantage Leadership & Communication: - Leadership: Excellent mentoring and leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams - Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
