We are looking for an experienced IT Application Manager to join our growing team and support our customers' business-critical applications. In this role, you will ensure the stable operation, administration and continuous improvement of legacy systems and their integrations.
Working closely with customers, internal teams and external partners, you will take ownership of day-to-day application operations, technical coordination, incident resolution and application-related projects. You will also contribute to customer integrations, software releases and the continuous improvement of operational processes.
We are looking for a proactive, communicative professional with a strong technical background, a hands-on mindset and the ability to work independently in a customer-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support customers' business-critical applications and legacy systems
- Ensure the stable operation of applications and connected interfaces
- Monitor daily batch jobs and background processes
- Analyse, investigate and resolve incidents, problems and operational issues
- Coordinate troubleshooting activities with customers, internal teams and external service providers
- Create and maintain incident, service and change tickets
- Provide second- and third-level application support
- Manage users and roles within business applications
- Support end users with technical and functional questions
- Perform and document SQL updates and create operational reports
- Configure and maintain technical integrations and data exchange with external partners
- Perform mapping, integration, functional and end-to-end testing
- Support software updates, releases, maintenance activities and production deployments
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides and operational procedures
- Coordinate technical activities across different stakeholders
- Analyse and improve operational and support processes
- Contribute to the standardisation and automation of operational workflows
- Act as deputy for the Operations Manager during vacation or sick leave
