Geologist (m/f)

We are seeking a Geologist to support and lead our European geoscience operations, with a focus on hydrocarbon exploration and production. This role involves managing geological and geophysical data, coordinating field and office-based activities, and ensuring high-quality interpretation and reporting. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of geological models, supervise drilling operations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to align exploration efforts with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Participation in hydrocarbon exploration projects - Identification and analysis of hydrocarbon systems - Geological and geophysical supervision of drilling operations - Geological mapping and map creation - Field surveys and site visits - Organization and management of geological and geophysical data; database development - Seismic interpretation - Geological model building - Preparation of exploration reports

Qualifications: - Master degree in geology, geophysics, or a related field - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Croatian and English, written and verbal - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Proficiency in computer applications relevant to geoscience - Ability to adapt to changing environments and tasks - Familiarity with internal data management systems - Review and synthesis of scientific literature - Use of geological and geophysical software tools - State Geology exam with the signature rights The ideal candidate is technically proficient, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, capable of leading projects and supporting a dynamic team of geoscientists.
