Commissioning Electrical Tester (m/f)

About the Role Vertiv is hiring a Commissioning Electrical Tester to support testing, verification, and commissioning activities for electrical systems and equipment across projects throughout EMEA. In this role, you will ensure the safety, quality, and functionality of electrical systems through detailed testing and analysis. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to identify issues, support commissioning activities, and ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys technical fieldwork, problem-solving, and international project exposure. In this role, you will: - Perform testing on electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (voltage, current, resistance, insulation resistance, continuity, etc.). - Conduct functional testing and support commissioning activities at factory and customer sites. - Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. - Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to define testing procedures. - Accurately record test results, deviations, and observations, maintaining detailed documentation. - Prepare clear and concise test and commissioning reports, including recommended corrective actions. - Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues efficiently. - Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. - Support continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes and quality standards. Location: 50% office / factory (Zagreb) and 50% travel to customer sites across EMEA.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable individual who can work independently while supporting cross-functional teams. You should have: - High school diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electrical testing is preferred. - Previous experience in electrical testing, commissioning, or a related technical field. - Practical experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. - Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety standards. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation. - High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. - Willingness and ability to travel extensively across EMEA (approximately 50% or more). - Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage). - A proactive mindset and commitment to quality and safety. Work Environment This position combines office/factory-based work in Zagreb with frequent travel to customer sites across the EMEA region. You will work in dynamic industrial and technical environments, requiring adaptability, professionalism, and strict adherence to safety standards.
