What are you going to do?
You behind the wheel of a bus. Can you picture it? You skillfully maneuver that large vehicle through the streets of Amstelveen. For you, no corner is too sharp, no intersection too busy. In between you have a pleasant chat with your passengers and you are attentive to their safety and well-being. As a bus driver for Transdev - the largest mobility company in the Netherlands - no two days are the same and you will have a lot of freedom and
responsibility.
As a bus driver, you are the rock for our travelers. You get your passengers where they need to go safely and quickly. Whatever the weather, they can count on you to give them a friendly smile and a warm welcome.
The work of a bus driver offers a lot of freedom. Of course you have your fixed routes and times, but because you drive alone you have to be able to work independently and responsibly. In fact, you are the boss in your own bus.
A social and responsible job, therefore, in which you:
- Drive punctually and safely
- Take care of the passengers
- Have a customer-friendly attitude
- Are willing to work flexible shifts
- Do you have no experience as a bus driver, but does this sound like the job for you? Then we would also like to help you get started.

What do you bring?
A good bus driver is social, independent, responsible and stress resistant. Safety comes first in your work, followed by caring for your passengers. You enjoy making an actual contribution to society. A sense of humor and patience are also very welcome.
Further we ask:
- Driving license D and Code 95. Do you not have the right papers for this job? Even then we are happy to look at the possibilities with you.
- advanced English level
- Willingness to work alternating shifts

What we offer you:
M@tchm@kers offers you a varied job with a lot of freedom, social contact and responsibility. We value you with a complete package of employment conditions:
- Our confidence: you get a permanent contract after 1 year
- You will earn between €2,697 and €3,689, excluding allowances
- 8% vacation pay
- A year-end bonus
- Occasional rest: 25 vacation days
- Working week of 40 hours
- We take care of now and later: a good pension plan
- Your shifts are known well in advance
We provide you with a home as close to work as possible. We offer a private room in a house together with your colleagues. The cost for the rent is around €200 per week and includes water, electricity, natural gas and internet.
- We take care of the transportation by finding a car for you (either personal or shared with roommates);
- Covered travel costs to and from work (fuel card)
- We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to your new home
- We will get you your Dutch healthcare insurance and tax number
- The respective employment contract, signed one day before your departure for the Netherlands (it is in English)
