Project Delivery Engineer (m/f)

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Zagreb, Croatia, with flexibility for remote work and occasional international travel depending on project needs. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex industrial and CAPEX projects, working across technical coordination, project planning, stakeholder management, procurement support, and construction execution. Depending on project requirements, responsibilities may include: - Supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution - Coordinating engineering and technical interfaces - Managing project documentation and deliverables - Supporting procurement, tendering, and contractor coordination - Participating in design reviews, constructability assessments, and technical evaluations - Supporting project controls, reporting, and risk management - Assisting during construction, commissioning, and handover phases - Collaborating with international clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants exposure to high-value international projects and enjoys ownership, fast learning, and entrepreneurial environments.

Qualifications: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field - 3+ years of experience in project engineering, project management, or construction/project delivery - Experience in EPCM, industrial construction, mechanical contracting, data centers, life sciences, or similar CAPEX environments - Strong understanding of project planning, coordination, and technical delivery - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Fluent English (written and spoken); German or Croatian is a strong advantage - Experience with project management and engineering tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, BIM platforms, document control systems) - Curious mindset and interest in leveraging AI/digital tools to improve delivery performance - Willingness to take ownership and work in an entrepreneurial, fast-growing environment
