Emovis is expanding its development center in Split, and we are looking for an independent, proactive, and technically strong Senior QA Engineer / QA Team Lead (m/f) to drive quality excellence across our products and development teams.
In this role, you will lead the QA function, define testing strategies, support agile delivery, and ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of our digital solutions for electronic tolling and smart mobility. Our technology stack includes microservices, containerization (Docker), Windows and Linux-based environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the QA team across multiple projects
- Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices
- Create, review, and optimize test plans, test cases, and automation strategies
- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams
- Oversee automated and manual testing processes
- Ensure thorough regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Track key quality metrics, risks, and defect trends
- Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes
- Stay current with new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends
Vrsta poslaStalni radni odnos
Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine
- 4+ years of experience in software QA
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and automation practices
- Experience designing and implementing test strategies
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservice architectures
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to have:
- Experience with performance, security, or load testing
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker)
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.)
- Experience testing APIs and distributed systems
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
Digital Skills:
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Test Automation
