We are looking for a versatile Education, Ocean Literacy, and Citizen Science Manager. The Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, implementation, and monitoring of knowledge transfer programmes and citizen science. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong management skills and a deep understanding of education, ocean literacy and citizen science frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing knowledge transfer and education activities and possess excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of education, ocean literacy, and citizen science projects aligned with the mission of CoE MARBLE
- Manage and coordinate skills development programmes and training services put on offer by CoE MARBLE
- Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposals within competitive international programmes related to education, ocean literacy, and citizen science
- Design knowledge-transfer programmes connecting research in maritime robotics and sustainable blue economy with schools, universities, industry, and the general public
- Manage workshops, training sessions, summer schools, and hackathons
- Build and maintain collaborations with universities, schools, NGOs, industry partners, and international research institutions
- Support transfer of research results in maritime robotics into accessible educational content
- Support student involvement, manage internship programs and early-career training initiatives
- Support training of MARBLE staff involved in outreach and citizen science activities
- Ensure alignment between MARBLE research teams and education/outreach initiatives
- Monitor programme outcomes and prepare reports for funders and partners
