AI Engineer (On-Prem / Enterprise) (m/f)

Keep on reading because we’re hiring: AI Engineer (On-Prem / Enterprise) (m/f) Join our engineering team working on a large-scale strategic project for a leading German IT service provider in the financial-services sector. You will design, implement and operate AI/ML and GenAI use cases that improve data-center efficiency, automation and operational stability. Responsibilities: - Design and implement AI/ML and GenAI use cases for data-center optimization - Build automation solutions, predictive-maintenance models and anomaly-detection pipelines - Develop and operate ML workflows, pipelines and GenAI services in an on-prem environment - Prepare, transform and process data for training and production systems - Deploy, run and monitor models on GPU, container or VM-based infrastructure - Contribute to MLOps workflows incl. CI/CD, model lifecycle and observability - Collaborate with AI architects, data-center experts and project leadership - Produce documentation and support knowledge transfer to operational teams

Your Profile: - 3–7+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering - Excellent programming skills in Python - Strong hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) - Experience with GenAI frameworks and orchestration (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, etc.) - Practical experience delivering GenAI use cases (RAG, agent-based workflows, AI services) - Familiarity with on-prem AI/ML deployments (GPU clusters, VMs, containers) - MLOps-Know-how (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, CI/CD, Model Registry) - Experience with data engineering pipelines (Airflow, Spark, Kafka) - Strong understanding of API-based model serving and scaling - Very good English skills (C1); German is a plus - Nice to have: Experience integrating AI/LLM features
