What will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction projects, preferably international.
- Knowledge of EMEA safety regulations, local laws, and EU directives.
- Fall protection and working-at-height experience (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Experience in conducting safety training and orientations.
- Analytical skills for risk assessment and safety performance management.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B)
Physical & environmental demands:
- Standing and Walking: Frequent walking and standing for extended periods while conducting site inspections and safety audits.
- Climbing: Occasional climbing of ladders, scaffolding, and stairways during site visits and safety inspections.
- Bending and Stooping: Regular bending, stooping, and kneeling while inspecting work areas and safety conditions.
- Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 15 kg (e.g., safety equipment, documentation).
- Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and arms for writing reports, using tools, and operating computers.
- Visual Acuity: Clear vision (corrective lenses allowed) for reading documents, screens, and conducting site inspections.
- Hearing: Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in noisy construction environments.
- Extended Work Hours: Occasionally working outside regular business hours to align with project schedules and safety audits.
- Construction Site Exposure: Regular presence on active construction sites with varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
- Heights: Working at elevated locations, such as scaffolding, platforms, and rooftops, with required fall protection.
- Travel: Up to 80% travel across the EMEA region, including remote project sites, requiring overnight stays.
- Temperature Variations: Exposure to varying temperatures when working both indoors and outdoors.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic project environment.
