FINANCE MANAGER

Job description and responsibilities:

Develop and manage the financial planning process, lead (in charge of) forecasting/budgeting across all departments and outlets.
Plan, track, and evaluate the efficient use of approved CAPEX.
Challenge assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
Lead and develop a team of 9 people.
Responsible for the accounting/finance/ controlling functions, including reporting, accounts, compliance, and liaison with third-party advisors such as banks, insurers, and auditors. Reports directly to the CFO.
Responsible for the continuous improvement of financial systems, procedures, and internal controls.

We look for:

Fluency in English and Croatian (spoken and written).
University degree with a focus on Finance or Accounting; ACCA or similar qualifications are an advantage.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Finance Manager/Head of Controlling/ accompanied with Big 4 experience
Proven track record of successfully leading a finance/accounting team of approximately 5–10 people.
Strong knowledge and experience in budgeting, taxation, accounting, and accounting standards.
Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
