Global Management Systems Developer (m/f)

Location: Hum na Sutli

Profile:

The Global Management System Developer / Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-level integrated management system. This role combines strategic system development with a strong compliance focus, ensuring adherence to internal standards, external certifications (ISO, IATF), and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) requirements. The role supports audit readiness, drives continuous improvement, and ensures alignment with customer expectations and legal obligations across the organization.

Tasks for Quality Engineer:

Guide the organization in compliance processes such as ISO, IATF and ESG
Assure that the company's integrated management system supports the execution VCST’s strategy, is compliant with applicable management standards (ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, etc.), and aligns with customer and legal requirements
Monitor and support plants in implementing the integrated management system, initiating and following up on necessary actions
Ensure adherence to legal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies
Manage and coordinate system audits at corporate level and across different VCST plants
Support or organize customer audits as needed
Analyze audit results and develop improvement plans
Advise management on compliance-related risks and areas for improvement
Train and raise awareness among employees about compliance and quality standards
Capture best practices related to management systems and ensure their transformation for group-wide use

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Quality Management,...)
Minimum 2 years of experience in compliance, audit, or quality management roles
Experience in conducting and supporting audits, with a background in IATF (automotive)
Knowledge and experience in ESG compliance is preferred
ISO/IATF Lead Auditor certification (or willingness to qualify)
Knowledge of ISO/IATF 16949 standards and basic understanding of automotive core tools
Basic knowledge of ISO 14001
Detailed knowledge of Customer (Specific) Requirements in the management system domain
Awareness of product safety legal aspects and regulatory requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach
Capability to find acceptable solutions and convince stakeholders to adopt and implement them
Willingness to travel (Europe and Mexico)
Proficient in English, German and/or Spanish are an advantage
