Job description

- Lead and coordinate all permitting and regulatory approval processes across assigned assets or projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines - Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, including mining, environmental, land, water, and municipal entities - Manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up of permit applications, supporting documentation, and regulatory reports - Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on ongoing and planned operations, providing timely updates and recommendations - Coordinate inputs from technical, environmental, legal, and operational teams to ensure complete and accurate permitting documentation - Support project planning by identifying permitting requirements, risks, and timelines, and integrating these into overall project schedules - Track and manage permit conditions and compliance obligations, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle - Represent the company during regulatory inspections, audits, and authority consultations - Establish and maintain permitting workflows, documentation standards, and internal tracking systems - Identify permitting risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or non-compliance

Required education, knowledge and skills

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, Law or a related field - Willingness to work on-site in Sisak area two days per week - Strong understanding of permitting and regulatory frameworks, particularly in environmental and/or mining sectors - Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the company externally - Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance tracking systems - Ability to interpret legislation and translate requirements into practical actions - Fluency in English
