Electrical Engineer - Clean Energy & AI Datacentre Design (m/f)

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work in the Product Development and Engineering department focusing on development of modular prefabricated solutions and applications of new technologies for Datacenters. Your tasks will be to work alongside a dynamic team on designing detailed systems, creating prototypes, working on component selection, and actively promoting those solutions for AI and Hyperscale customers. This includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy and Datacenter design. What you'll do? As a team player, your responsibilities include: Working on the development and conceptual design phase, prototyping, and later, in the project execution phase, of projects, for example: - Design of System solutions based on hydrogen technologies for backup and prime power - Large power converter and backup system solution designs - Electrical designs for AI datacenters and Hyperscale applications - Dedicated electrical datacenter sub-systems and components Responsibilities we expect you to take: - Leading the overall technical execution of the project - Handling an engineering team and activities during design, prototyping, and production - Being a point of contact for the customer regarding all technical-related queries and discussions - Discussing technical, out-of-scope, items with the customer, sales team, and assigned project manager - Conducting technical progress and coordination meetings - Tracking manufacturing and ordering activities

Requirements: - English language - fluent - LV - and MV voltage distribution design - Software - Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, EPLAN, SKM - Experience with integration of fuel cells / electrolyser systems (Preferred) - Large power converter system design (Preferred) - Electrical System design systems for ATEX zones (Preferred) - Other skills - independent, attention to details, problem solving, organization, creativity, teamwork The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
