Job description
As a Hull Detail Design Engineer, you will work on hull detail engineering – from concept and design to delivery and modification. In close collaboration with your teammates in Croatia and our Dutch headquarters, you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing hull construction of vessels based on operational and functional requirements
- Producing construction models and drawings for classification and workshop documentation
- Collaborating with the production team and supporting suppliers and subcontractors
- Using 2D/3D software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, and Cadmatic
- Ensuring designs meet all classification, regulatory standards and it is fit for production
- Staying involved throughout the production process to ensure seamless execution
- Reporting to the Engineering Management both in Rijeka and in the Netherlands

Required education, knowledge and skills
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical engineering, or a related field, relevant experience in the field can compensate for the lack of formal education level
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (entry-level applicants with the right mindset are also welcome)
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, Rhino, Cadmatic)
- Strong communication skills in English
- A hands-on, proactive attitude and a passion for shipbuilding as we’re very passionate about it, too
- Willingness to travel within the EU
