Accountant (m/f)

We are searching for an Accountant (m/f) based in Arthrex ADRIA in Zagreb (Croatia).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Processing, controlling and posting: purchase and sales invoices, general ledger entries, accruals, travel expenses and other monthly expenses
Perform regular reconciliations with customers and vendors
Warehouse management: controlling and posting financial items and consignment data
Fixed Asset management: controlling and posting fixed assets and small part inventories, depreciation
Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
Bank statement postings and cash collection
Assisting with reporting for VAT, Intrastat, statistics, The Environmental Protection Fund
Contact with vendors, customers and public authorities
Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, company procedures, ethical standards and other compliance rules
Perform support with audits and internal controls
Perform accounting closing activities on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Your profile:

University degree (Accounting, Economics, Finance)
3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a multinational companies
Knowledge of Navision and/or SAP is an advantage
Knowledge of tax and accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
