Mediteran security d.o.o., is looking for a new team member for the position of CFO, who will support the operation and growth of our company with strategic thinking and solid practical financial expertise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Professional leadership, management, and supervision of 4-5 members of finance team
- Coordination of complex financial tasks, performing chief accountant responsibilities
- Coordination of monthly closings, preparation of monthly financial reports, oversight of financial planning
- Coordination and control of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, statistics, reports, and self-assessments
- Reporting to the parent company/Group, consultations on tax and accounting matters, participation in consolidated reporting
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Active participation in year-end and interim audits
- Involvement in tax-related matters and contract reviews
- Financial management of car fleet financing and insurance (without operational management)
- Coordination and supervision of payroll and HR processes
- Control of office lease contracts, invoicing, and related financial processes
- Liaison with managing directors and Group finance colleagues
- Support for the Group CFO, close cooperation with Group HR
- Management of transfer pricing documentation, administration of cross-border transactions
- Preparation for tax audits and communication with authorities
- Drafting of accounting documentation, policies, and process descriptions; establishment and maintenance of internal controls
- Ensuring legal compliance, monitoring legislative changes and applying them in accounting and taxation activities
- Contribution to the development and testing of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
