We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Business Analyst with strong SQL and accounting knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

analyze business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various databases
collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements
create detailed reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
assist in the development and implementation of new business processes and systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment
strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management
solid understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and os part of a team
detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy

Preferred qualifications:

experience in insurance or financial industry
knowledge of ERP systems and financial software
certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or SQL (eg., Microsoft SQL Certification).
