Technician (m/ž)

We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our Operations team to work on the OSTEOproDENT project. This fundamental role is focused on supporting the technical aspects of research and development, particularly in the production of rhBMP6 for our novel bone-healing drug. The Technician will be involved in hands-on technical work, maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting in experiments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our research and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities - Technical Support: Provide technical assistance in laboratory or manufacturing settings, supporting various research and production activities - Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory or manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance - Experiment Assistance: Assist scientists and engineers in setting up and conducting experiments, including preparing samples and reagents - Data Collection: Collect and record experimental or production data accurately for further analysis. - Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment - Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment - Collaborative Work: Work closely with other team members, contributing to collaborative projects and supporting the overall goals of the department - Reporting: reports to a laboratory manager, senior scientist, or head of the manufacturing department As a technician, you will play a crucial role in the practical aspects of our research and production processes. Qualifications - Education: Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering) - Experience: Previous experience as a technician in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. - Skills: Good technical and hands-on skills, attention to detail, ability to follow complex instructions, and strong organizational abilities.
