About the Position:
Software is at the heart of our SCADA product RITOP. If you are passionate about software engineering, industrial applications and modern technologies, and want to contribute to solutions used in critical water and energy infrastructures, we'd love to hear from you.
Main Tasks:
- You will develop and maintain our SCADA product, RITOP, based on Siemens WinCC OA
- You will develop software solutions using object-oriented technologies such as CTRL++, C++, C#, and SQL, as well as modern web technologies (JavaScript / TypeScript)
- You will design and implement new features, as well as further develop and modernize existing software components
- You will analyze and resolve complex technical issues in product and customer installations
- You will actively contribute to the design of software architectures, technical concepts, and software designs for future product versions
- You will plan and conduct unit, integration, and system tests, and support code reviews to ensure high software quality
- You will work closely with product owners, engineering, support, and development teams in an agile environment
- You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and software quality

Required education, knowledge and skills
- A college or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or electrical engineering/automation engineering with a focus on software development
- At least 3-5 years of experience in object-oriented software development with C# and/or C++, ideally in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Experience with networked systems, databases, and agile development methods (Scrum); knowledge of SCADA or automation is a plus
- Proficiency with common development tools such as Git, Subversion, BitBucket, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps, or Azure environments. Knowledge of databases is a plus.
- An analytical, structured approach to work and a passion for solving complex technical challenges
- A high degree of initiative, the ability to work well in a team, and the motivation to collaborate on developing high-quality software solutions
Language Skills:
- Good English skills in both spoken and written form
- German skills - minimum requirement B2, C1 preferred
Required educationMaster's degree, Master's degree
