We are seeking a new colleague to join our internal IT support team in the IT Services department, helping ensure reliable and efficient technical support across the organization.

IT Support Engineer (f/m)

Your tasks:

receiving, assessing, and processing incidents and service requests via phone and our ticketing system
providing first-level support for dSPACE employees worldwide, covering PC hardware, Microsoft® operating systems, and internal IT applications and tools
analyzing and troubleshooting PC and client related issues
performing system configurations and software installations within the Microsoft environment
acting as an administrator for the dSPACE IT infrastructure
documenting solutions and maintaining knowledge articles to continuously improve our service quality
escalating incidents to second level teams when necessary and following up to ensure resolution
contributing to the improvement of ITSM processes (e.g. incident, request, knowledge)

Your qualifications:

successfully completed education or training in the field of IT system integration, IT administration, or related field
at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in IT support
experience with installation and configuration of Microsoft products, including operating systems and Microsoft Office
analytical and conceptual thinking, with a solution-oriented approach to work
high level of service and customer orientation, combined with excellent teamwork skills
proactive, independent and flexible working style
very good knowledge of written and spoken English and German
