We are seeking a highly skilled Exhibit Designer with advanced drawing skills, developed 3D modeling capabilities, and deep technical knowledge of how things are actually built. This role is ideal for someone with a background in product design, interior design, film set design, experiential environments, or design-build applications who understands creative intent and real-world construction execution. You will bridge concept and fabrication—translating design ideas into technically sound, build-ready solutions.
Together, we will design your to-do list, which will include tasks like:
- Develop products, custom elements, spatial exhibits and built environments from concept through fabrication in collaboration with Creative Director, Architects and Graphic Designers
- Produce precise technical drawings for construction documentation
- Create sketches, 3D models, renders and presentations of design proposals for approval
- Collaborate with fabricators, engineers, and contractors across different markets to ensure build feasibility
- Translate creative concepts into structurally sound, material-efficient solutions
- Prototype and iterate designs with an understanding of materials, tolerances, and joinery
- Develop and/or review shop drawings when required and oversee production detailing
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless integration into architectural environments
- Participate in value engineering and build strategy discussions
- Work closely with Graphic Design, Architecture and Project Management teams to ensure cohesive spatial and graphic integration
Decision Authority:
- Task-level creative decisions within approved brand guidelines
- Task prioritization and resource allocation within assigned projects
- Production approvals at project level
