About the Role: The primary objective of this position is to grow the Technical Management (TM) business unit for OSM Thome Croatia by securing new ship management contracts from prospective clients and to cross sell crew management (CM) and marine services (MS) contracts to both new and existing customers. Job Responsibilities: - Prepare and execute market strategy for assigned segments and jurisdictions working within the TM Services business development (BD) department - Provide regular BD reports on bids and leads - Promote and market OSM Thome Group services, with an emphasis on ship management contracts - Actively seek out new business opportunities in the market - Develop and execute sale strategies for TM services - Maintain close relationship with industry stakeholders, including brokers, yards, ship designers, classification societies, and flag states - Conduct sales visits with potential clients to explore business opportunities - Assists in the preparation and follow-up of quotations and management proposals for vessel owners and charterers - Prepare tender and bid documents for commercial shipping sector - Collaborate with technical, marine and crewing departments to prepare budgets for tenders - Conduct risk assessment / KYC and go/no go evaluations for potential clients - Stay informed on business cost drivers and perform market comparisons - Travel globally, with the focus on the EU region and the Americas, to meet clients and attend meetings

Required education, knowledge and skills

Qualification and Past Experience - Background in sales and business development - Preferable previous technical/marine roles in shipping, with seagoing experience, would be an advantage - Professional certifications, such as from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) would be beneficial - A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred - Experience with technical and operational requirements of commercial vessels and offshore facilities - Familiarity with vessel owners, tier-one subcontractors, and charterers, particularly in operations and HSSEQ - Experience in sales and marketing within the commercial marine or subsea sector - Experience in drafting commercial and legal documents for tenders and contracts - Proficient in creating and managing budgets for commercial seagoing and offshore vessels/facilities - Experience in customer relations and C-level negotiations - Project management experience is a plus
