About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this senior-level role, you will play a key part in identifying business opportunities, managing innovation initiatives, and leading the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects. Your strategic insight and ability to work independently will directly support the company’s growth and the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Identify and evaluate new business development prospects in alignment with company strategy.
Propose innovative ideas and solutions tailored to various purposes, including EU funding and sales.
Lead the preparation and management of EU-funded projects, from proposal to implementation.
Maintain a structured overview of EU (centralized and decentralized) and national funding programs, including internal and client-focused matchmaking.
Screen and evaluate relevant EU funding opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and execution.
Independently propose strategic initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in business development, EU project management, and funding acquisition
Strong knowledge of EU funds, particularly experience with centralized EU programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, Digital Europe) is a strong advantage
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders
Fluent in English
