Key Responsibilities:
- To service, maintain, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, ensuring the fleet remains safe, reliable, roadworthy, and fully compliant with all legal and operational requirements.
- Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance on company trucks and fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Carry out repairs on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other vehicle components.
- Prepare vehicles for CVRT/MOT testing, inspections, and compliance audits.
- Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and minimise fleet downtime.
- Complete all job cards, maintenance records, and defect reports accurately.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and road safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements at all times.
