As the Events & Group Manager, you will be a vital Sales & Marketing representative, responsible for organizing and executing events for external clients and managing in-house events throughout the season. You will coordinate group bookings, ensure seamless communication between clients and departments, and contribute to the strategic planning and promotion of Maslina Resort.
Responsibilities:
Group and Event Coordination:
- Manage all group bookings and event requests
- Prepare event agreements, and pro-forma invoices, and ensure timely communication with clients
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and provide regular updates to relevant departments
- Monitor payment and cancellation terms
Client and Department Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal departments
- Ensure clear and timely communication regarding event details and requirements
- Gather and share client feedback for continuous improvement
Event Management and Follow-up:
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including in-house events
- Conduct post-event meetings and gather input
- Monitor tentative bookings and leads, ensuring diligent follow-up
Promotional and Brand Management:
- Organize promotional events and promote the hotel's F&B outlets and banquet facilities
- Represent and promote the Maslina Resort brand
- Conduct property tours
Strategy and Planning:
- Contribute to the creative process of developing new events and optimizing existing offerings
- Support hotel objectives and strategies
