- To prepare and serve beverages according to established standards
- To set up, stock, clean, and maintain the beverage preparation and service areas
- To prepare the outlet for operation, including mise-en-place, setting and resetting tables, light cleaning, and completing other assigned tasks
- To take food and beverage orders from guests, with an emphasis on upselling when possible
- To follow standard recipes and minimize waste to help ensure that the outlet's beverage cost remains within budget
- To be flexible in accommodating special requests from guests for specific beverage preparation methods and ingredients
- To order coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients based on outlet par stocks, as instructed by the Outlet Manager
- To efficiently use the outlet's point-of-sales system as instructed
- To ensure all sales are properly recorded, following prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items
- To complete opening and closing duties as assigned
- To follow presentation guidelines established by the Outlet Manager for beverage service
- To maintain the assigned station or section in a clean and organized manner at all times
- To ensure that all company minimum standards for quality and service are implemented, and that additional brand standards are applied where appropriate
- To work in a supportive and flexible manner with other employees and departments
- To handle all operating equipment and supplies carefully to minimize damage and reduce wastage
- To assist in inventory-taking as required
- To assist in resolving discrepancies in beverage inventory
