Job description
About the role:
ExCEEd Orphan is looking for a Country Manager (m/f) to lead its business across the Adria region, with a focus on rare diseases and specialty therapies.
You will develop and execute regional business plans, identify growth opportunities and coordinate activities across your markets. Working closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and Operations, you will support product launches and access to therapies for patients with significant unmet needs.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver business plans for the Adria region, with clear priorities for each market
- Take responsibility for commercial performance, sales forecasts and agreed budgets
- Assess market opportunities and prepare launch plans with relevant regional teams
- Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare institutions, healthcare professionals and business partners
- Work with Market Access colleagues to support local pricing, reimbursement and tender activities
- Coordinate with Marketing and Medical Affairs to deliver appropriate local activities and materials
- Work with Operations and distribution partners to support demand planning and reliable product availability
- Monitor market developments and performance, and recommend adjustments to plans
- Lead and develop local team members, where applicable, and coordinate external partners
- Ensure activities follow applicable requirements and company policies

Required education, knowledge and skills
What you bring:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with responsibility for commercial results at country or regional level
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical markets and healthcare systems within the Adria region
- Experience in rare diseases or specialty care is an advantage
- Experience with product launches and collaboration on market access initiatives
- Strong business planning, forecasting and budget management skills
- The ability to build effective relationships and coordinate colleagues across functions and countries
- A responsible, patient-focused approach to business decisions
- Fluent English and proficiency in relevant local language(s)
- Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory
- A relevant degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, business or a related discipline
