WHY DOK-ING?

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Development of a Windows desktop GUI application for remote-controlled vehicles
Design for the frontend user interface and the backend application logic
Wide range of sub-system integration
Contribute to the software development lifecycle while maintaining high professional standards
Work in a multi-disciplinary research, development, and engineering environment
Participate in quality assurance (code review, test creation, debugging, and optimization)

REQUIREMENTS:

MSc/BSc in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
At least 2 years of experience in the industry
Experience with:
- Development of standalone desktop Windows applications
- Frontend user interfaces
- Ethernet communication protocol
- Development of products from prototypes to mass production
Knowledge of C# and Python programming languages
Knowledge of .NET and Windows forms framework
Hands-on experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting both software and hardware
Proficiency in spoken and written technical English

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Proficiency in using QT or similar cross-platform application development frameworks
Experience with handling analog/digital video streams (AHD, PAL/NTSC, HDMI, SDI, VGA)
Understanding of communication CANBus, RS232/RS485 protocols
Computer architecture knowledge of x86 systems
