ICT System Administrator (m/f)

About the Position: As a System Administrator, you will work in an interdisciplinary team of professionals at the interface of ICT and the water and energy industries. You will be responsible for the administration of network and server solutions specifically tailored to the needs and requirements of the water and energy industries. Location: Zagreb RIZ. Main Tasks: - Participate in the operation, control, monitoring, and maintenance of ICT services for operational activities - Identify, isolate, and resolve simple issues - Initiate simple technical contingency and/or escalation procedures - Trigger recovery, restart, and restore procedures - Perform or initiate tuning and performance measures - Control and monitor system load - Maintain documentation on operational processes, change planning, or error analysis Secondary Tasks: - Assist network security and implementing the latest security technologies - Ensure information security based on service levels and security profiles - Advise and inform system users regarding simple ICT services in operational activities - Assisting in the creation and rollout of standards - Integrate new or modified simple software into operational activities

- Basic education in computer science or an equivalent technical education - Experience in ICT system administration - Skills in troubleshooting and issue resolution - Good communication skills and customer orientation - Teamwork, solution-oriented thinking, and service orientation - Knowledge of information security and data backup - Language Skills: Excellent English skills in both spoken and written form / German skills are a big advantage
