Hotel Reception Operation Coordinator (m/f)

We are looking for a hotel manager to join our team in our new resort: Aito Igloo & Spa Resort, which will be one of the top luxury hotels and the most stunning getaway to discover the unique landscape of Lapland. We aim to deliver the best experience and privileged comfort to our customers as well as to value the sustainability of the planet. Headcount: 1 Duration of the agreement: We are looking for potential candidates interested in this position for a longer period, but it will start with a 6-month contract from September 2025 with high possibilities to be extended. Basic Duties and Responsibilities: - Welcoming and registering guests once they arrive. - Overseeing personnel, including receptionists, kitchen staff, and office employees. - Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service. - Collecting payments and maintaining records of budgets, funds, and expenses. - Resolving issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies. - Organizing activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity. - Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities. - Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners. - Evaluating hotel performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules. - Partaking in financial activities, including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments. - Build strategic marketing plans for the luxury hotel market.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business administration, or a relevant field. - Have experience in running or managing a hotel from scratch. - A minimum of three years of work experience as a receptionist in a 4- or 5-star hotel (or equivalent) is required. - Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software. - Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills. - Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail. - Fluent in English and other native languages (Spanish/French/Italian is a plus).
