Automation / BMS Engineer (m/f)

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a candidate that will have a strong will to learn and develop his technical skills and knowledge in automation/BMS systems as well as the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices. Candidate should have pronounced work ethic, ability to fit in teamwork environment and strong will to learn. Essential job functions: - Generation of BMS system design documentation with the rest of BMS team: - Riser and network diagrams - I/O lists - Application and functional diagrams - Sequence of operations - Equipment technical specifications - Commissioning and deploying of BMS systems - Programming of PLC’s and DDC controllers - Commissioning of Scada systems - Commissioning of communication gateways - Controlling and supporting BMS system integrators for data center projects - Work on his tasks inside multidisciplinary team of people. - Responsibility to engineer solution with optimized price / performance. - To constantly take care about purchased products from his responsibility

- University degree – technical studies – BS or MS in Electrical (preferable Automation) - Minimum of 1-2 years’ Experience on Control and BMS Systems - Active English - Active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A), AutoCAD, EPLAN Technical/practical skills: - Generation of design documentation for control systems (SOO, IO Lists, etc...) - Background on PLC/SCADA and/or DDC systems - Programing experience on the system mentioned above (Ladder logic, FBD, textual languages) - Experience in SCADA systems (user management, alarm management, screens development, etc.) - Experience in checking BMS and control cabinet schematics - Basic Ethernet network knowledge - Basic knowledge of BMS standard communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.) - Teamwork - Coordination and interaction with other disciplines - Experience in developing control cabinet schematics, preferred skill (optional) - Basic Experience in HVAC systems and Thermal management - Basic Experience in Power Generation, Power Distribution - Good theoretical background in automation, preferred skill (optional) - Organizational skills Core competencies: - Problem solving, Detail oriented, Analytical, hard work ethic, teamwork, precise and meticulous.
