Our mission is to restore the value of food, ensuring it is appreciated and not wasted. We are a fast-growing and determined team, driven by personal experience. Witnessing food waste in the hotel and restaurant industry inspired us to take action and work toward eliminating this avoidable waste.
We are looking for a passionate Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer to help us boost our ML pipeline performance for visual food waste classification.
Your Job & Responsibilities:
- Research state-of-the-art ML approaches for image classification and segmentation
- Adjust ML approaches to our specific needs and come up with innovative solutions
- Design, train and evaluate ML models
- Proactively communicate with Customer Support team and improve modelsbased on feedback from production
- Keep MLOps in check and production pipeline running
- Optimize models for compute and cost efficiency

Skills and Requirements:
- Very good understanding of ML concepts
- Good understanding of Computer Vision concepts
- Proficient in Python
- Experience withPyTorch is a strong plus
- Experience withGit, DVC and SQL is very much appreciated
- Willing to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Good communication skills
